AB de Villiers to keep for RCB in IPL 2020?

 Mumbai :RCB star batsman AB de villiers took instagram to share his picture in training gear which included wicket-keeping gloves and pads.

The former South african captian who is currently in quarantine mode with his teammate Chris morris is likely to keep wickets for Virat kohli's team for upcoming edition of IPL. In his latest instagram post AB was seen wearing a visor he mentioned,


AB has kept wickets for RCB in past although he had been deployed in the outfield for past few seasons. RCB coach Simon katich mentioned that the option of AB keeping is still in consideration he mentioned,

"Obviously we've had a lot of discussions around the makeup of our team. AB has kept wickets in South Africa before so I'm sure that will be a topic for discussion. But what is the right balance in these conditions will also come into play. He's got a huge role to play for us, given the number of performances over the years for RCB and South Africa."

This also means that Indian Parthiv Patel might denoted to the bench clearing the side for talented Karnataka youngster Devdutt Padikkal. IPL is set to commence from 19th Sept with fixtures yet to announced.
