Yuvraj Singh ~ The Inspiration

 In the World full of Sachin,Dhoni and Kohli fans i have a bit different taste.The man who is not the best captian,not the god of cricket but the man who helped the ordinary captian to become the best captain,the man who helped the god of cricket to achieve his biggest dream. The man himself 'YUVRAJ SINGH'.

A small boy who made his way in the Indian team at a very small age 18 years. The teenage where the child gets distracted to various bad habits, this child had his focus clear.made his debut against kenya in the year 2000. Sadly,he didn't got a chance to bat in his debut but the boy showed his worth by scoring 84 runs in just 80 balls against the mighty Australians in the very next match. there was no looking back from then he cemented his place in the team of legends like Sachin,dravid,ganguly,laxman but he stood strong and went on to be the biggest match winner in limited overs format of Indian team.

In 2009, when Yuvraj was in his primer form, he was also the cover boy of most of the magazines. he suddenly lost his path from cricket ground to photoshoots, affairs, glamorous life. he was being called as "bad boy" of cricket . It suddenly shooked his life he couldn't perform and was took out from vice captain position. Very few people know after Dravid, Yuvraj was also being considered to be the next captain but due to his lack of focus in cricket he was never made the captain in his 19 year long career.

This showed even champions make mistake,he realized his mistake when for the first time he was put out from the Indian team. he suddenly got back on his track left his glamorous world and focussed back on cricket, in 2011 it was difficult for Yuvraj to make his place in the World cup playing XI, but due Yuvraj's handy bowling and his quickness in the field he was being played. Whole world got to know the greatness of 'Yuvraj Singh' he played like a dream. Unbeatable with the bat, amazing with the ball and tremendous in the field. He was selected as Man of the series. he made selectors realise that not picking yuvraj would been the biggest blunder of their life.

India won the world cup nation was dancing in the streets. Indian players were treated as god. but the biggest hero of World cup was suffering between life and death. 'CANCER' the name is enough for people to think its over. he was diagnosed with tumor. he knew this even before world cup but this couldn't stop Yuvi from acheiving his and every indian's biggest dream. After the World cup when players went on holiday, this hero went to London for his treatment. Cancer couldn't defeat a champion and he defeated it and made a comeback in just 1 year. it was a miracle.

Sadly, not every fairytale has a happy ending. Yuvraj's carrrier was never the same. cancer couldn't defeat him but it affected his carrer miserably. After scoring 8000 runs in 11 years of his carrer, he could only score 701 in the remaining part of his carrer. He faced several humiliations in the last part of his carreer. 2 times World cup winner was called 'VILLAIN' 'USELESS' and lot more when he scored only 11(21) balls in 2014 Wt20 finals.

He never had a smooth carrer but he never gave up. this made him the biggest inspiration in youth. We after failing once lose all hope and give up should learn from that champion. Even a world champion has to face humitiation and rejections so we are nothing. The biggest thing he thaught is "When Life puts you down get up and do it again".
